Experience the heritage craft of Pole-lathe Turning by creating your very own bowl. We will be using a range of traditional tools, including axes, hook tools and knives for splitting, axing, turning and carving. All materials, tools and tuition included.

A general level of fitness is needed for this type of turning. We'll be using our legs to pump and arms to control the tools, using as much energy as used to climb a large hill.
All levels of experience are welcome and expert guidance given to support you throughout the day.
To accommodate individually, please let me know beforehand whether you have any existing conditions or injuries.
 
The course workshop starts at 10.00am and will be finished by 4.00pm. Please bring your own lunch and snacks to fuel you during the day, hot drinks provided.
