In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create a heritage-style frame basket using locally sourced hazel and skeined willow — materials rooted in centuries of tradition.
During the day, you will:
Prepare and work with green hazel and willow
Learn key techniques such as riving, bending, and weaving
Shape and weave your own unique frame basket
Explore the rhythms of slow, mindful making and natural materials
